Shamanism, Shamans and Fire

Shamanism is an indigenous way of practicing spirituality that is in harmony with the Earth.
In Shamanism, the Earth is seen as the Great Mother.
Any spiritual and energetic work that is done between the realms is done by a person called a Shaman.
A shaman is a seer, a healer who can walk between the worlds to gather information regarding what is needed to restore balance and healing to the person/place/thing in need.
They hold sacred space for others.
They also conduct special rituals or ceremonies.
Often, they have the ability to go into trance or shapeshift.
“Training” for this usually begins at birth, mostly unbeknownst to them.
Many people carry past-life scars related to their gifts due to being persecuted because of their healing abilities and knowledge of plant medicine. This has led to a “great silencing” of one’s spiritual gifts.
Any experience we are connected to emotionally, psychologically, or physically is a thread that will distort what we create in our reality Weave. What is not healed within us will continue to bleed into our realities… and the realities of future generations without realizing it.
Anything that is not completely understood, anything denied, will continue to distort the Weave of our personal reality and our future generations are deemed to inherit it. The vibration of the distortion or wound will continue to attract stuff to get you to see it… this includes ANCESTRAL stuff.
In order to really grow, we must cut any distorted threads. This is OUR responsibility! The more conscious we become, the more actual free will we have.
Regardless of our heritage, indigenous people have always used fire as a way to connect with Great Spirit and to purify themselves.
We are in an incredible cycle of change right now.
The potential for miraculous things to occur is upon us.
If you have ever wanted to heal but have been afraid of the “dirty work”, I want you to know there is a gentler way.
I have decided to provide opportunities for you to let go of the pain, the suffering and to teach you how to do this for yourself. There is something powerful in ritual. There is something even more powerful in learning how to do this for yourself.
I have planned a few fire release ceremonies for the sake of taking healing into your own hands.
So many of us carry scars of our ancestors and do not realize it.
So many of us find ourselves in cycles of repetitive crap and we do not know how to get off that train.
This is a powerful place to start.
The lesson for so many of us is to learn to open up to these sacred gifts that we have within us and learn to say yes to living and reawaken oneself to the fire of passion… it awakens life force within.
Fire.
God how I love fire. I love to watch it dance.
I love how I feel when it lulls me into a calm trance.
It is a place where magic resides within us all.
Fire.
It is the energy of Spirit itself.
It is the reflection of our Soul.
It transforms the prayers we make into smoke to be carried to the Heavens to be answered.
Shamanic Fire Ceremony-
For centuries there have been numerous cultures who have used fire as a way of purifying themselves.
Summer is represented as red on the Medicine Wheel and connected to the element of fire. Red is also representative of our Native American People, so we will be doing a Native American inspired Shamanic Fire Healing Ceremony.

We will talk about the meaning and importance of fire, make our own sacred smudge medicine bundles and place our intensions of release into a conduit representing ourselves and our prayers, which will then be placed in the fire. You will also receive a mini energy "tune-up" from me.
*All medicines and tools required for this ceremony will be provided for you.

Gaelic Fire Ceremony-
To the Celts, Summer is connected to the element of fire as well and is represented by the color white.
It represents the path of insight and is connected to the direction of southwest the midway point of summer. It is known as Lughnasadh.
Aug 2nd in Northfield
Join me and my friend Stephanie for a Gaelic sacred fire festival at Stephanie’s property on the outskirts of Northfield on Saturday Aug 2nd from 6-9pm. (seats are limited to 20)
We will talk about Lughnasadh, one of the four Gaelic fire festivals.
It marks the beginning of the harvest season… the perfect time to acknowledge your journey thus far. It is about belonging and bringing ourselves into “right relationship” with our planet, our bodies and others (human and animal). If we don’t stop to acknowledge how hard we have worked and how far we have come, spirits tend to feel neglected. We need them on our journeys, so lets honor them and our hard work!
During this fire ceremony, we will share apple bread, a symbol of the harvesting of the first grains and first fruits of the season. We will do ceremony to honor all that we have learned so that the smoke carries the prayers of gratitude to the Heavens. Gratitude as a foundation lends to us manifesting more goodness in our lives.
*All medicines and tools required for this ceremony will be provided for you.
(address for event will be provided a few days ahead of time)
LAST DAY FOR SIGN UP is THR JULY 31st
Please note that a 4-day cancellation is required for a full refund.
I hope you will join us by the sacred fire!!
