How many times have you said the following:
“I can’t, it’s not the right time”.
Or “I’m not ready yet”… assuming you have to have A, B, C and D in place first.
Is there ever really a right time?
Maybe what you are meaning to say is “I’m afraid”.
Fast forward to 20 years later. You still haven’t done the thing you said you weren’t ready for.
Are you ready now?
Then you are diagnosed with cancer and told you don’t have much time to live.
Are you ready… now? ?
The point I am trying to make is that we are never promised there will be a tomorrow. If we are blessed enough to wake up another morning, do you stop to honor it? Do you make the most of it? Or do you waste it??
Are there things in life you regret right now?
Are you afraid to come to the end of your life and have regret?
Regret occurs from actions we made when we were in a place of dis-harmony and fear.
Waiting is a waste of time if you stop to think about it.
Are you waiting to be more financially secure?
Waiting to be a better (blah blah blah)?
Wasting time leads to regret, as it is still an action rooted in dis-harmony and fear.
I hate to break it to you, but did you know that in some form, you are dying every day?
For now, you have this moment and that is all.
What are you going to do with it?
Do you want to find yourself on your death bed wishing you would have done this or that or simply lived more or differently?
WTF are you waiting for?
Tomorrow is a gift, not a promise.
You will never be “as ready” as you think you should be, so just rip the scab off and jump into your dreams.
How many times have you said “tomorrow”.
Someone else did that and tomorrow never came.
Place your hand upon your chest.
That strange beating thing in there tells you you’re alive… but are you living?
Stop taking life for granted.
Stop letting fear, insecurity and doubt stop you dead in your tracks.
Stop envying others who are doing what you wish you had the courage to.
All we have is Now.
All we have is today.
Be alive.
Make today count.
Live and really mean it!
